In The Garden
Williamsburg Botanical Garden is a lovely location for photographers, both amateurs and professionals alike. We welcome you to come and appreciate its beauty. No fees are charged but donations from professional photographers who bring clients into the Garden are appreciated.
Photos are permitted throughout the Garden but specific areas cannot be reserved or blocked off for exclusive use. We ask that all photographers follow a few simple rules.

Etiquette in the Garden
- Courtesy to other Garden visitors must be shown by photographers and their clients at all times.
- No pathways, common areas, exits, or entrances may be obstructed.
- Stay on the paths. Do not step into the beds.
- Please keep all equipment out of the beds.
- If furniture is moved, please return it to its original position.
The Garden does not have any changing facilities on site. Permission for use of the restrooms in the Freedom Park Interpretive Center for this may be arranged by calling the park staff at (757) 259-4022.
