Don’t Be Afraid of Shade!

July 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Learn to garden with great plants that thrive in little or no sun. We welcome back Peggy Krapf, owner of Heart’s Ease Landscape & Garden Design, to share some great tips on creating a shade garden.

About our speaker:

Peggy Krapf has been a landscape designer in the Williamsburg, Virginia area since 1993. She holds a Landscape Specialist Certificate from George Washington University, is a certified member of the Virginia Society of Landscape Designers (VSLD), and a Virginia Master Gardener. An award-winning designer, Peggy’s landscapes have been on tour during Historic Garden Week of Virginia, Ford’s Colony Garden Tours and several local Parade of Homes. They have been featured in newspapers, magazines, and Southern Living Magazine. She is a frequent speaker at garden clubs, horticultural events, and Virginia Master Gardener Training.

This program will be held at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, Meeting Rooms B & C. Due to the larger room size which will accommodate all of our partipants, it is no longer necessary to register.

Must be 18 years or older to attend. This program is free, but donations are welcomed to support the garden operations.
