Fifty Shades of Pollination: Gardening for Insects

Dr. Shawn Dash, assistant professor of Biological Services at Hampton University will speak about the mutualistic relationships of pollination. Information will be provided on creating a pollinator garden and attracting pollinators to your landscape.

About our speaker:

Dr. Shawn Dash is a classic natural historian and an award-winning educator who teaches courses from biology to medical entomology at Hampton University. He is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Hampton University and is also currently president of the Hampton Roads Bird Club.

This program will be held at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, Meeting Rooms B & C. Due to the larger room size which will accommodate all of our partipants, it is no longer necessary to register.

This program is free, but donations are welcomed to support the garden operations.
