Your Brain on Gardening: From Flowers to Health and More

Ever wonder WHY you love gardening so much? Lorraine Lander, Ph.D. will explain what’s really happening to your body and brain when you spend time spent outdoors. Lorraine is an avid gardener and life-long educator. Beyond the science of the benefits of gardening, she will share some ideas for enjoying your garden time even more.

Our speaker is Lorraine Lander, a recent transplant to Williamsburg. She holds a B.S. in Nursing, an M.A. in Applied Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Human Development.

FREE but Limited Seating – Registration Required. WBG-FPA members in good standing will receive an email on or before June 1st with the registration link. Members have Priority until 9 am on Saturday, June 10 when registration opens to the public.
