Winter is Prime Time for Pruning
January 18, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Most trees and shrubs should be pruned during winter while they are dormant to invigorate the plant and encourage new growth in spring. The VCE Master Gardeners Pruning Team will explain the right tools for the job, demonstrate proper techniques, and show how to maintain your tools for years of service in the garden. This program will be held at the James City County Recreation Center.
Member Priority Registration: Garden Members will receive an email no later than January 4th with the link for Priority Registration. Registration opens to the public at 9 am on Saturday, January 11. Click here to learn about membership and its perks.
