HOW TO GROW HERBS

October 20:  HOW TO GROW HERBS. Freedom Park Interpretive Center, 10:00 a.m., open to the public. Briscoe White, co-owner of the Growers Exchange, an online company for herb plants in Charles City County, will give recommendations for no-fail herbs, the best time to plants specific herbs outdoors and what NOT to do with herbs. Additionally, he will talk about best practices in planting and pruning herbs outdoors as well as growing herbs indoors through the winter.

Weather permitting, after the program Master Gardeners will be in the Garden to answer questions and talk about what is in bloom.
