Fresh Inspirations for Holiday Trimmings

November 18, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Be inspired with new ideas to create unique holiday decorations with fresh greenery, herbs, driftwood, willows, dried flowers, and other materials from the natural world. Today’s speaker is Robin Daniels, who operates a floral design (and catering) business that features her unique “Horse head” wreath and other natural decorations. For many years, she operated Food D’Art Catering and Floral Design in Chester, VA, where she served as chair of the Civic Beautification program. She is a member of the Chester Garden Club, and recently joined Three Rivers Garden Club in Charles City.

Robin developed an early love of gardening from her mother, and took electives in floral design and horticulture while earning her B.S. degree from Virginia Tech. In addition to presentations on floral design, she has done programs on protecting and encouraging native bee populations, and has created educational exhibits on the culinary uses of herbs.

FREE but Limited Seating – Registration Required. WBG-FPA members in good standing will receive an email on or before November 1st with the registration link. Members have Priority until 9 am on Saturday, November 11th when registration opens to the public.
