CHILDREN’S BOTANICAL SKETCHING IN THE GARDEN

May 9: CHILDREN’S BOTANICAL SKETCHING PROGRAM. Location: Williamsburg Botanical Garden (inside Freedom Park Interpretive Center if rain), 10:00-11:30 a.m., open to the public, $5 donation requested.  Description: Learn how to observe and draw stems, leaves, and flowers from the garden! We will select specimens from the garden and record them in graphite and then use watercolor paint or colored pencil.  Ages 8-16. Instructor: Linda Miller, Local artist and Virginia Master Naturalist. Registration required by emailing sherrypat2@yahoo.com. Limit of 15 children.
