Reblooming Bearded Irises bloom in spring and fall. They are the gardening world’s best kept secret. Learn more about proper culture and the best varieties to plant from the American Iris Society’s Region 4 (West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland) Reblooming Iris expert Mike Lockatell has been a seasonal vendor at the Williamsburg Farmers Market for the past eight years specializing in irises and peonies.

Mike is a Richmond-based hybridizer of reblooming iris, and convener of the recent American Iris Society Region Four meeting Springtime in the Fall,
