Funday Sunday in the Garden: The Garden in Winter

Join us on the Garden patio for a reading of the book The Wish Tree by Kyo Maclear. We will take a guided walk in the Garden to look for trees and shrubs with interesting texture or color in the bark, and admire the natural shape of stems. After the walk, we will make a “Wish Tree” to take home.

This FREE program is for children Ages 5+ – no registration needed.

Meet in the Garden Pavilion next to the patio. NOTE: No program if raining.

All children must be accompanied by an Adult. Please make sure to apply sunscreen and bug spray, bring drinking water, and wear closed toe shoes.
